New brand identity for a cutting-edge YouTube channel

ColdFusion is a YouTube channel, founded and run by producer, author and entrepreneur Dagogo Altraide. The channel releases short, factual documentaries for its millions of subscribers. Dagogo felt that the channel’s brand identity required a refresh. ColdFusion didn’t have a ‘logo’ in the typical sense, but it did have a strong association with diamonds.

Following conversations with Dagogo, we landed on a contemporary diamond icon design. Built from four stacked shapes, this symbolises the layered approach Dagogo takes in his production process.

Off the back of a fresh logo design, I assisted the team at ColdFusion with developing further brand assets, including a new colour palette, on-screen graphics for their YouTube videos and style concept designs for social posts and expanding their social media output.
